The Playboy Club Starring
Amber Heard will involve LGBT themes. The character of Alice, who is one of the Playboy Bunnies in the series, is a lesbian who is married to a gay man. Alice is played by Leah Renee (see photograph) while Sean, the husband, is played by Firefly’s Sean Maher. The series will, apparently, deal with their marriage of convenience as well as meetings set at the Mattachine Society, which is a real LGBT rights organiztion.
